Kivuli Trust

We wanted to give something back and so in March 2009 we chose Kivuli Trust as our adopted charity. We continue to support them today.

We are inspired by the incredible work Kivuli Trust does to transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable children in the world. Kivuli means ‘shelter’ in Swahili; the trust builds and operates hostels on the premises of mainstream schools in Kenya.

Their focus is on the education of children with physical and mental difficulties in Africa – whose individual challenges are generally poorly understood – thereby enabling their acceptance into the wider society.

Kivuli is a small, efficiently run charity. We raise money via events and by donating a portion of our profits. The funds we provide cover the running costs of Kivuli House, a boarding house for 68 children in Gilgil Primary School, Kenya.
